Pick up from NJP/Bagdogra. Drive up the famous Hill Cart Road through Kurseong. Check in to a heritage hotel. Evening walk on Chowrasta Mall — the central square with Kanchenjunga views, shops, and street performers.
Pre-dawn drive to Tiger Hill (8,482 ft) for the legendary sunrise — watch Kanchenjunga, Everest and the Sleeping Buddha range turn gold. Return via Batasia Loop (Toy Train views), Ghoom Monastery, DHR Railway Museum. Afternoon: HMI, Padmaja Naidu Zoo (red pandas!), Happy Valley Tea Estate walk with tasting, and the Japanese Peace Pagoda.
Visit the multi-tiered Rock Garden, Ganga Maya Park, and the Darjeeling Ropeway. Afternoon free for shopping — pick up first-flush Darjeeling tea, local handicrafts, and Tibetan jewellery.
