Pick up from NJP/Bagdogra. Drive up the famous Hill Cart Road through Kurseong. Check in to a heritage hotel. Evening walk on Chowrasta Mall — the central square with Kanchenjunga views, shops, and street performers.

Pre-dawn drive to Tiger Hill (8,482 ft) for the legendary sunrise — watch Kanchenjunga, Everest and the Sleeping Buddha range turn gold. Afternoon: HMI, Padmaja Naidu Zoo (red pandas!), Happy Valley Tea Estate walk with tasting, and the Japanese Peace Pagoda.
